Matt is a Principal with Laulima Consulting. He provides strategic advice to senior management and Boards of both publicly-traded and privately-held organizations throughout North America, including those with complex, global operations.

He regularly consults to rapidly growing companies in the energy, technology and financial sectors. This includes those undergoing rapid growth, major transformations and liquidity events, necessitating a comprehensive human capital and compensation strategy. Additionally, Matt advises various pension funds and investment firms, both at the fund level and with their portfolio companies. He focuses on balancing the company's best interests with market competitiveness while ensuring strong alignment with key stakeholders and investors.

Before joining Laulima, Matt held a senior position at a global consulting firm. Previously, Matt led corporate strategy for a consumer services organization owned by a Canadian infrastructure fund, overseeing strategic planning, growth and sustainability-focused product development initiatives.

Matt received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary with a concentration in Accounting; in addition, Matt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
