Sarra Charrat has three years of executive compensation consulting experience. She has worked on a broad range of compensation matters, such as external market benchmarking, short-term and long-term incentive plan design and target-setting, compensation philosophy development, and board of directors’ compensation. Sarra specializes in providing analytical and advisory support for Canadian privately-held and publicly-traded energy companies and possesses a strong knowledge of executive compensation principles, regulations and market dynamics within this sector.

Prior to joining Laulima Consulting, Sarra served as a consultant at a large global consulting firm, where she honed her skills in executive compensation design, strategy and governance. Sarra holds a Master’s of Commerce and Business Management from the EDHEC Business School in France and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta.

Sarra is passionate about corporate governance, diversity, equity and inclusion, and believes that effective executive compensation practices are essential for driving organizational performance and fostering a culture of accountability and alignment.
