Thanh is a Principal with Laulima Consulting, specializing in executive compensation and employee rewards. He joined Laulima in 2024.
Thanh brings over 20 years’ experience in human resources and consulting. He has extensive experience in both broad-based and executive compensation, including in short-term and long-term incentive plan design, recognition programs, employee and executive savings & retirement plans and executive compensation disclosures. He has led total rewards changes for organizations going through restructuring and M&A activities, including divestitures and privatization.
Prior to returning to consulting, Thanh led the compensation and total rewards teams for both publicly-traded and private-held organizations across multiple industries for 15 years, including in energy, utilities, transportation and telecommunications. In addition, he has led strategic workforce planning, people analytics, talent management, HR information systems, payroll and employee resource support in his prior roles.
Thanh received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba with a concentration in Finance and International Business and has completed the Ivey Executive and Strategic Leadership Programs from the Ivey Business School. Thanh also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
